UNTV Cup 2: Philhealth Advocates, PNP Responders and AFP Cavaliers Blow Up a Big Win

Philhealth Advocates sprinted a runaway win against Senate Defenders, 103-62, in the first of the triple-header game of the UNTV Cup Season 2. The team remains undefeated in this season’s team standing, 2-0, as of results posted March 2 at the Ynares Sports Arena.

PO2 Olan”The Sniper” Omiping and Best Player of the Game Ronaldo Abaya came through with Herculean effort, taking advantage of their quick feet and superfast hands for PNP Responders  to dominate the HOR Solons, ending the second ball game with the total score of 91-68.

The night finale, AFP Cavaliers penetrated and dominated the hoops against MMDA Black Wolves leading early in the 1st quarter, 27-20. The Black Wolves were devoured by the consistent offensive and defensive play of the Cavaliers until end of the final quarter, 89-78.

The next hardcourt battle will be between Senate Defenders and Malacañang Patriots followed by DOJ Avengers and Season 1’s champ Judiciary Magis on March 9 at the Meralco Gym.
