UNTV Cup Teams Prepare For Season 2, Start Hard Court Action With Tune Up Games
“Practice makes perfect”
This famous tagline has become more than just a cliché for the competing teams of the UNTV Cup, as they kicked off the second season with a series of tune-up games.
Dubbed as the Ultimate Public Service basketball league, major government agencies and celebrities have gathered together to make up a powerhouse of real public servants.
A series of tune up games were held in January of this year at the Treston International College Gymnasium as preparation for the second season of UNTV Cup scheduled to initialize on February 11.
The tune-up games will be a match between Team Senate versus Team MMDA, as well as Teams Philhealth versus DOJ, Malacañang versus the House of Representatives, Team LGU against team PNP, and a lot more.
The second season is made more heart pounding by the addition of three more competing teams, completing a total of perfect 10 competing teams for the said league.
Meanwhile, the UNTV Cup Season 2 opening ceremony will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The proceeds of the games will go to the chosen charitable institutions of the Champion team.
