Here are some excerpts to share. From The Philippine Star, Ricky Lo wrote (August 20, 2009)

MANILA, Philippines – After his succcessful maiden album In My Eyes which went platinum, Daniel Razon has recorded his second CD, Isang Araw Lang, featuring the song of the same title composed by Krist Melecio…

… For Daniel, Isang Araw Lang is more than just a song but a call for selfless volunteerism. The message is to motivate people to do good even for just one day in a year.

As host of public-service morning program Good Morning, Kuya! on UNTV 37 and known popularly as Mr. Public Service, Daniel has been spearheading many projects for the indigent. These include Clinic ni Kuya, which gives free medical and dental check-ups, consultations with optometrists, opthalmologists, and obstetricians/gynecologists, along with free medicine and laboratory tests daily;Libreng Sakay sa Bus (Free Bus Ride); Libreng Sakay sa MRTMunting Pangarap, a weekly wish-fulfilling service to help the less-privileged; Law Center ni Kuya, in which a group of lawyers provide free legal consultations; Job Fair ni Kuya for job seekers and the free Transient Home, a project with Bro. Eli Soriano, host of Ang Dating Daan. A recent project is a free college program at La Verdad Christian College in Metro Manila which will provide scholarships to deserving youth.

From Manila Bulletin, Crispina Martinez-Belen  wrote on Wednesday (21 August) —

It was a phenomenal feat, Daniel Razon’s second album entitled “Isang Araw Lang” acquiring gold status on its first day of release. This was actually his goal – to make the album a Gold Record awardee in a day’s time, thus the title, “Isang Araw Lang.” The song was composed by Krist Melecio.
This is a follow-up to Daniel’s maiden album “In My Eyes” which went platinum…

… With all his visible endeavors, it is apparent that the man really walks his talk. Asked why his campaign is called “Just One Day,” he simply answers, I’ll leave that for you to answer… in UNTV, we do it every day.”

From Hataw, Maricris Nicasio wrote on Wednesday (19 August) —

Muchas gracias amigos!!!

More power to Kuya Daniel Razon!!!

Congratulations Kuya Daniel! You have given our countrymen the hope that we are longing for, which is denied by this government. You have shown us the Love of the Living GOD which does not expect anything in return. We hope and pray to God that He continues to give you life, opportunities and blessings to finish what you’ve started. Hope other people and other countries will duplicate these efforts for the benefit of the needy.

Amidst all the noise. The youths powers is really overwhelming!

    Whats more? Its clean fun.

YCONCON 2 is truly inspiring because the proceeds will benefit the FREE school which Kuya Daniel Razon envisioned altogether with Bro. Eli Soriano in giving opportunity to the less fortunate but talented individuals.

A challenge for everyone — especially—me. That I can do good, too. Just like Kuya Daniel and Bro. Eli is doing even to strangers.

    Oh, yes!

Even my 12 year old daughter who is a deaf, really appreciated the event, as Kuya Daniel sang the “Isang Araw Lang”, and she joined in waiving her two hands, and emoted as she is singing too. I am so very happy…

    it’s really “ISANG ARAW LANG”!
