Stars, Politicians, other Personalities Unite for Unity Run
Famous personalities from media, politics, showbiz and the private sector will unite on January 22, 2012 to support Kuya Daniel Razon‘s Kahit Isang Araw Lang Unity Run, a nationwide simultaneous run for the benefit of Department of Education’s (DepEd) Adopt-a-School program.
Public Servant Support
Kahit Isang Araw Lang already transformed from being an open invitation to do good to others and a catchphrase for Mr. Public Service’s diverse initiatives to being a guiding principle that moves and inspires celebrities-cum-public servants and fellow Unity Run partners Daisy Reyes of Pateros, Monsour Del Rosario of Makati City, and Quezon City’s Gary Estrada.
Pateros Mayor Joey Medina and Taytay, Rizal Mayor George Gacula urged the public’s participation for the run as it will help build computer classrooms for public schools all over the Philippines.
Nationwide support
Kahit Isang Araw Lang Unity Run has been positively received not only in Metro Manila, where the bulk of the expected 200,000 runners will be converging, but also in key locations in Bacolod, Butuan, Cebu, Davao, Palawan, and Tacloban, where local government officials and private organizations strongly back the event.
